The course before Shormann Prealgebra, Shormann Volume 6 is in the works! Click here to see a draft of the first 15 lessons. “Shormann 6” for short, the course emphasizes number (arithmetic), geometry basics, and measurement, three of the ten major concepts covered in all Shormann Math courses. Like Prealgebra, Shormann 6 will include facts practice drills, mostly for arithmetic facts. While we pray this course gives students a GREAT math education, our real hope is for students to know and trust Jesus as their Savior. Like Paul wrote in Romans 1:16-17, the righteous live by faith in Jesus, not by their level of math knowledge. That said, mathematics is definitely a way to help connect students to their Creator.
